Jason joined Fisherman's Friends in early 2010, shortly after the band signed their record deal with Island Records.  Growing up in Padstow, Jason was a well known fisherman with a reputation as a talented accordion player, playing out across the UK and Ireland.

Before long, Jason was an established member of the group and began to sing lead on songs, as well as providing musical accompaniment.  

A former member of the Padstow Lifeboat, Jason makes his living catching crabs and lobsters on his own boat the Levan Mor.   He considers himself very lucky to be doing a job he loves, ably assisted by 'MILLIE' his faithful Jack Russell!

The Shellfish is then picked and dressed and sent all around the country by his shellfish company, PADSTOW SHELLFISH COMPANY. His shellfish has been served up at events such as the Queen's Tennis Championships and by Michelin-Starred Chefs.
