Padstow-born Toby joined the line-up of Fisherman’s Friends officially back in December 2014. Before that he spent a year travelling with Fisherman's Friends as their sound engineer and support act.
Music has always been a huge element of Toby's life, regularly performing as a solo acoustic act 'Loveridge' (which is also his middle name) and also playing in a covers band and the Padstow-based folk band 'The Stowes'.
Toby has brought his guitar playing skills to the band as well as his interest in songwriting and can regularly be seen on stage stomping out a rhythm on the stomp box.
During his late-teens / early-twenties, Toby would help his godfather out by crewing on his tripping fishing boat but soon traded his sea legs in for a cameraman's eye and began a career in TV Broadcast and Video Production.
He has previously worked for ITV, Discovery and several other production companies but since 2006 he has run ikandi:media.
When he's not filming or singing Toby loves nothing more than spending time with his "Little Lobsters", Archie, Daisy & Joey, and his wife Lisa... Making the most of what Cornwall has to offer and getting to the beach whenever possible.
