There's only one member of the Fisherman's Friends who can claim to have a hurricane-proof quiff and that man is Lobster Fisherman Jeremy Brown. We're not entirely sure what hair product he is currently using but we discovered during recent wind tunnel tests that it is 4 times as resilient as Cleavie's moustache wax.
As well as singing his fair share of shanties, Jer is also a great lover of proper rock 'n' roll and has been known to belt out 'Da Doo Ron Ron' during a singing session in the pub. He also recently took centre stage at the 2016 Royal Cornwall Show singing classic rock 'n' roll songs for a special BBC Radio Cornwall performance (complete with Buddy Holly style glasses).
Jeremy runs the family business, JUST SHELLFISH, catching Crab and Lobster with his son Tom which is then cooked and picked by the "glamorous Crabbie girls" which include Liz and Lisa (Jeremy's wife and daughter).
Jeremy has recently set up a new venture with his brother John, running trips out of Port Isaac on their Rigid Inflatable. You'll get to see Port Isaac and the surrounding area from a unique perspective, enjoy the marine wildlife, take in a bit of history and appreciate the rugged coastline.
FAVOURITE FISH: FLYING FISH.... IF YOU COOK THEM JUST RIGHT, THE WINGS GO ALL CRISPY!
FAVOURITE SHANTY: GOT TO BE 'SOUTH AUSTRALIA' (AND I'M SURE THE REST OF THE BAND WILL SAY THE SAME).
FAVOURITE PAST-TIME: HAS TO BE TOURING IN THE CAMPERVAN OR ON THE MOTORBIKE.
FUN FACT: DESPITE BEING A FISHERMAN, JEREMY CANNOT SWIM AND HATES COLD WATER.
